What areas do you service?
We work throughout Ottawa and the surrounding region — Nepean, Kanata, Barrhaven, Orleans, Gloucester, Stittsville, Manotick, Richmond, Rockland, Kemptville, and every rural Ottawa & West Carleton village (Ashton, Carp, Constance Bay, Cumberland, Dunrobin, Fitzroy Harbour, Greely, Metcalfe, Munster, North Gower, Osgoode, Sarsfield, Vars, Vernon, Woodlawn). No travel surcharge on standard projects.
Do you offer emergency same-day service?
Yes. For urgent repairs during business hours — active leaks, broken locks, busted windows, doors that won't secure, storm damage — we almost always make it same-day, often within a couple of hours. Call 647-527-9522 to reach a real person.
What about after-hours emergencies — active water leaks?
Juan responds after-hours for genuine make-safe emergencies — active water leaks and other situations where waiting until morning means more damage. Call 647-527-9522 day or night. Non-emergency small repairs outside business hours are returned first thing the next business day.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes. For most jobs we'll provide a free on-site walkthrough and a written estimate with timing, materials, and price. For smaller fixes we can often quote over the phone or by photos.
Are you insured?
Yes. We carry $2M general liability insurance and current WSIB clearance. Documentation available on request before any work begins.
How quickly can you start?
For urgent repairs (leaks, broken locks, etc.) we'll usually be there same-day or within 48 hours. Larger projects get scheduled based on scope — typically within one to two weeks.
Do you handle small jobs too, or only big renovations?
Both. A single hinge replacement or a full bathroom gut — same team, same standard of care.
What makes Fibonacci different from other Ottawa handymen?
30+ years continuous experience on the tools, full insurance ($2M liability + WSIB), one crew that handles any scope from single-hour repairs through full bathroom rebuilds, same-day availability on urgent work, written estimates and warranties on every job, and a physical shop on Capital Drive in Nepean — not a fly-by-night operation.
Do you work with insurance restoration companies?
Yes. We work as a finish sub-trade for restoration companies (Paul Davis, WINMAR, BELFOR, FirstOnSite, ServiceMaster and others) across Ottawa. Fully insured, WSIB current, comfortable with Xactimate scopes. See our For Contractors page.
